Our tipster is backing the Blues to claim an emphatic victory against the Ukrainian side in Thursday's Europa League last 16 first leg tie in London

Chelsea face Dynamo Kiev in the first-leg of their Europa League last 16 tie at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

Maurizio Sarri's side are unbeaten in eight matches in this competition so far this season and will fancy their chances of extending that impressive record in style against the Ukrainian outfit.

Dynamo claimed a thrilling 3-2 aggregate win against Olympiakos in the previous round, and so Aleksandr Khatskevich's men will hope to cause another upset in west London.

Chelsea, though, are strong favourites to establish a first-leg lead. William Hill offer just 32/100 (1.32) that the Blues come out on top on Thursday night.

Dynamo are chalked up as a 9/1 (10.0) chance to claim a famous victory at Stamford Bridge. Khatskevich's side held Olympiakos in Greece in the previous round and it is 4/1 (5.0) that the visitors ensure that this tie remains level ahead of next week's return leg in the Ukrainian capital.

David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, Mateo Kovacic and Pedro all dropped out of Chelsea's starting line-up on Sunday. That quartet could come back in for this tie.

Dynamo striker, Fran Sol, has scored two goals in four appearances since joining the club in January. Sol's haul includes the winning goal against Olympiakos in the previous round.

The Ukrainians have lost just one of their eight matches in this competition so far this season. William Hill offer 23/10 (3.30) that Dynamo avoid defeat on their visit to London.

The same firm offer even money (2.0) that Khatskevich's men find the net against the Blues - Dynamo have scored in all but one of their Europa League ties thus far this term.

Chelsea, though, have eased through the Europa League so far this season. Indeed, Sarri's side have scored 11 goals and have conceded just once in their four home matches in the competition.

William Hill offer 3/4 (1.75) that Chelsea keep a clean sheet and 19/20 (1.95) that the Blues win to nil. The 11/8 (2.38) quote for Chelsea to score three or more goals may well prove popular, with Sarri's men expected to dominate.

Better value, though, could lie in backing Sarri's men to beat the handicap mark and establish a good first-leg lead. William Hill go 17/20 (1.85) that the Blues (-1) win by at least two clear goals in west London on Thursday night.
