Betting Tips: West Ham vs Fulham

Our tipster is backing the Hammers to add to the visitors' woes when Manuel Pellegrini's side host Claudio Ranieri's charges at London Stadium

Friday night football comes from London Stadium as West Ham United play host to relegation-threatened Fulham.

Manuel Pellegrini's men have been impressive on home soil in recent months, losing just one of their last seven matches on their own patch.

Fulham, meanwhile, have picked up just two points from 13 league matches away from Craven Cottage thus far, leaving are seven points adrift of safety.

It is little surprise, then, that West Ham are bet365's 5/6 (1.83) favourites to win this one.

Fulham can be backed at 3/1 (4.0) to claim their first away win in the top tier in almost five years whilst the odds compilers offer 11/4 (3.75) that the visitors pick up a precious point as they battle to beat the drop.

Manuel Lanzini and Fabian Balbuena could both return to the West Ham squad following long injury layoffs. Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez, Winston Reid and Jack Wilshere, however, are unlikely to feature again this season.

Alfie Mawson remains as Fulham's only absentee for the trip across London.

Fulham have conceded at least two goals in each of their last seven matches and so the 4/5 (1.80) quote from bet365 for the Hammers to score more than once could prove popular with punters.

As well, the Cottagers have scored just eight away goals in the Premier League this season - no team in the top tier has scored fewer - and bet365 go 7/4 (2.75) that Fulham fail to find the net against the east Londoners.

West Ham are winless in their last five fixtures but will be confident of a return to winning ways here. The 6/4 (2.50) quote from bet365 for the Hammers to lead by half-time may prove tempting.

Better value, though, lies in backing the Hammers to win to nil against shot-shy Fulham.

The 12/5 (3.40) selection would have landed in three of West Ham's last four wins - a sequence of results that includes a 2-0 win for the Hammers against Fulham at Craven Cottage in December.
