Marcelo Bielsa was hailed as a ‘legend’ and a ‘God’ after his incredible PowerPoint presentation in the wake of ‘Spy-Gate’.
The Leeds United boss called an impromptu press briefing at the Whites’ Thorp Arch training ground at 5pm on Wednesday evening.
The EFL launched an investigation after the Argentine admitted to his controversial method of observing opposition teams training before games.
Derby County boss Frank Lampard had an individual escorted from the premises before their trip to Elland Road.
However, despite fears the former Argentina manager would resign, Bielsa instead admitted to spying on every single Championship team this season before unveiling a PowerPoint presentation.
He said: “I’m going to make it easier for the EFL investigation. I’m going to make it easier for them and I assume my behaviour is observed from the most extreme position.
“I observed all the rivals we played against. We watched all the training sessions before we played them.
“My goal is to make this easier for the investigation. By doing this I assume the possible sanctions by the authorities.
“I don’t want to compare my situation with previous similar incidents.
“I don’t want to make it easier for me by attacking others. Regarding what I’ve done – it is not illegal. It’s not specified, described or restrained.”
The incredibly brash and brazen approach has gone down well with plenty of Leeds United fans on Twitter, who begged the club to honour their manager with a statue! Check out the best Tweets below!
When do we unveil the Christ the Redeemer size statue of Bielsa at Elland Road TheSquareBall? #lufc

Bielsa has called this press conference to show the world he’s a better Derby manager than the actual Derby manager!
He should end this by naming Derby’s side for tonight’s replay with Southampton
The absolute don!

Frank Lampard must be delighted: he made a big fuss about a guy in the bushes, and now Bielsa is revealing every single minute detail of Derby's tactics over the last two years via Powerpoint to the entire football world.

I sort of love Bielsa. “I observed all the rivals we played against and watched the training sessions of all our opponents before we played against them”

Bielsa is a legend and breath of fresh air. He loves his football and puts alot of work in to become the coach he is today. EFL need to appreciate a coach who decided to come to the championship to do is work. lampardsfulloflies

I started this day as an atheist. I will end this day knowing full well that Marcelo Bielsa is actually god #lufc #Spygate #PowerPoint #MOT

Bielsa = The greatest manager in the world.
Lampard’s called him out. So, Bielsa doing Bielsa, has annihilated the ENTIRE league with his research and, in doing so, completely exposed Derby’s tactics and Lampards knowledge (or lack of) of his own team.
