According to Transfermarkt recent release of stats on squad value changes after the winter transfer window, the European transfer market experienced a round of "earthquakes".
Manchester City, with Semenyo and Guehi's joining, adds 100m euro increase to their squad and the total value of €1.29bn team, dominating as the most expensive football team in Europe. Wolves, on the other hand, after losing Larsen, Arias and Agbadou, lost worth of 76m euros on squad value, becoming the most depriciated team in this table.
Other notable clubs including Napoli letting go of Loa Lang to Galatasaray and Lorrenzo Lucca to Nottingham Forest lost €45m worth of value on squad, while Galatasaray, the big collector of supreme players, boosted their squad with Lang and ranked 2nd on squad value increase.
