Match Report

Roberto Mancini saw his Italy side make history with yet another win in Euro 2020 qualifying as Bosnia-Herzegovina were put to the sword.

Italy earned a record 10th consecutive victory with a convincing 3-0 win at Bosnia-Herzegovina in Friday's Euro 2020 qualifier.

The Azzurri were already assured of top spot in Group J and were in control at the break in Zenica thanks to Francesco Acerbi's first Italy goal and Lorenzo Insigne's effort.

Andrea Belotti's fine strike early in the second half ensured Italy retained their 100 per cent record, while Bosnia-Herzegovina already knew they were destined for the play-offs.

Match Events

8' SAVE! Fine stop from Donnarumma

SAVE!!! Donnarumma denies the home side from point-blank range after Bicakcic tried to head home from a corner. Italy's defence fell asleep but their keeper was on hand to keep it at 0-0.

21' GOAL! Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-1 Italy (Acerbi)

Goal! Acerbi scores his first international goal, and his team-mates can barely believe it as he wheels away. Bernadeschi made the goal with a great run into the area before he cut the ball back to Barella. A simple lay-off allowed Acerbi to shoot, but he took his time before firing home. What a moment for the 31-year-old!

37' GOAL! Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-2 Italy (Insigne)

Goal! Insigne doubles the lead with his third goal in four matches for his country. The Napoli ace picked up possession in the penalty area and turned quickly before aiming for the far corner. His shot hit Kovacevic, and that deflection took the ball away from Sehic and into the bottom corner.

52' GOAL! Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-3 Italy (Belotti)

Goal! Both sets of fans rise to their feet and clap Belotti's effort as he makes it three. The Torino man raced onto a throughball and decided to shoot as soon as possible. Sehic failed to close him down, and Belotti smashed his shot into the top corner.

64' CHANCE! Insigne's long shot saved

SAVE! Insigne has already found the back of the net on one occasion, and he is inches away from grabbing a second. The Napoli man tried his luck from 25 yards out, but Sehic got down to his left to deny him.

79' Yellow Card! Kovacevic booked

Kovacevic is shown a yellow card, even though Dzeko tries to argue the decision. The defender tried to clear the danger and deny Belotti, but for some reason he raised his boot to the striker's face. Replays suggest he was lucky to be only shown a yellow on that occasion!
