What's been said?

Heading into the game, Klopp states that his side will 'fight' to finish in the top four as they look to play Champions League football next season.

'We have to chase and challenge everyone. The main thing is going to Bournemouth and playing a game there,' Klopp said at his pre-match press conference.

'I watched the way they play and it can be really uncomfortable for teams. We might fight for the UCL spots but the fight for staying in the league is just as exciting. I'm sure Bournemouth will fight like crazy.'

Klopp also added the mood in the Liverpool camp has been good following their win over United.

'There's no better mood-booster than a good game for us. Of course you see it in training.

'We had consistency in the league in the last five games but confidence is a fragile little flower and we have to make sure we keep that.'

As for Bournemouth, manager Gary O'Neil is expecting a 'very different' performance from last week's clash with Arsenal.

'I think all the situations are different,' O'Neil said at his pre-match press conference. 'It's very easy to clump them together and look at them as one. They're very, very different. I think the Arsenal one, the flow of the game did not change at all.

'They took three of their chances in the last half an hour and they missed them in the first hour. That's basically how the game went. We frustrated them in the same way. They threw balls in the box, there were deflections and bodies on the line.

'Our game plan didn't change. It's just a long time to hold Arsenal at bay. Inevitably, good sides have a chance of scoring late on in a game because they wear you down. People start to get tired. I think the lads understand. They know what it takes to see a game out.

'When we get in front, we try and stay positive and make sure we're still a threat. And we were. We were one-nil up and Dango goes through clean on goal, one versus one with Aaron Ramsdale. I think Aaron Ramsdale makes a good save from Dom in the second half.

'It wasn't as if the game changed and we were like, 'we're two-nil up, let's just sit in front of our goal'. It was the same. It's difficult for 90 minutes to hold a team of that quality at bay.'

Prediction

With Liverpool coming into the game off of one of their best performances of the season, now is a horrible time to play the Reds.

The Cherries have conceded the most goals in the league this season with 51. If Salah, Nunez and Gakpo are raring from the off, it could be a bad day at the office for the struggling Bournemouth side.

Despite being rock bottom, a win for the Cherries on Saturday will actually take them out of the relegation zone.

Therefore, from the first whistle against Klopp's side, O'Neil's side may aim to push from the off and shock Liverpool.

Prediction - 4-0 Liverpool
