Bryan Mbeumo, the 25-year-old Cameroonian striker, is to leave Brentford for Manchester United in a transfer totalling 82 million euros.
The news was reported on Friday by The Athletic and confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United will pay a fixed fee of 75.1 million euros, plus another 6.9 million in add-ons, in a transfer paid in four instalments.
It should be remembered that on Thursday, Manchester United had made a first formal offer of 75.1 million euros, plus 5.8 in bonuses, now improving the performance-related offer in Mbeumo's contract.
Mbeumo completed his sixth season at Brentford, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in 42 games in 2024/25.
