Evan Ferguson's first Premier League hattrick secured an excellent 3-1 win for Brighton at home to Newcastle.
The 18-year-old Irish striker Ferguson opened the scoring for the seagulls after England goalkeeper Nick Pope spilled a powerful Billy Gilmour effort right into his path.
Brighton pressed the advantage well and Ferguson provided a second midway through the second half with a lovely 25-yard curling effort into the bottom corner.
Ferguson provided the icing on the cake with a deflected effort off Fabian Schar and, despite a late Callum Wilson consolation, ensured all three points stayed on the south coast.
