Brighton and Hove Albion are in talks with Leganes over an £18million deal for Youssef En-Nesyri.

The quick, 6ft 2ins centre forward is a Morocco international who has attracted interest from the likes of West Ham in recent months.

He scored 12 goals last season, including a hat-trick against Real Betis, and added another four for his country including two during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Brighton have had two offers rejected so far but hope to convince Leganes of selling with an improved £18m bid.

Manager Graham Potter is strengthening his squad after moving for Bristol City defender Adam Webster too.

During this window, Brighton have added Matt Clarke from Portsmouth for £3.5m and and Leandro Trossard for £18m.
