Leandro Trossard has reportedly boarded a Eurostar train back to Belgium in relation to incidents that have seen him banished from Brighton's matchday squad for this weekend's Premier League match.
Trossard's quick departure from England came after the star was told that he wouldn't be part of the Seagulls' team to face Liverpool on Saturday.
The Belgian has been heavily linked with a January move away from Brighton with Tottenham interested in landing the winger.
Brighton's joint-leading goalscorer Trossard has scored seven goals in his last 17 Premier League outings for the club, but has seen his future on the south coast recently thrown into doubt.
On Friday, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed Trossard would play no part in the team to face Jurgen Klopp's side at the American Express stadium, telling reporters: 'Leandro knows very well my opinion. The last session before the Middlesbrough game, when he understood he wasn’t playing, he left the session without telling me anything.
'That isn’t good. On Monday I spoke with him and explained I don’t like this attitude.'
