Peaky Blinders actor Tom Hardy will narrate  the 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' documentary which will be released on Amazon Prime this month.

The nine-part series will show behind-the-scenes footage from the north London's club 2019-20 campaign, which saw them finish sixth in the Premier League table.

Spurs also sacked legendary boss Mauricio Pochettino mid-way through the season, before making a shock appointment in Jose Mourinho just a day later.

And Amazon Prime have now confirmed that Hardy will provide the narration for the series, which will be released on August 31.

In a social media post by Amazon, Hardy was heard saying: 'A season that will prove to be one of the most defining in the club's history.

'This is their first season in a new billion-pound stadium. This is Tottenham Hotspur.'

Hardy played the role of master-villain Bane in the 'Dark Knight Rises' while he also starred in 'Inception', 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' and 'The Revenant'.

'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' is the third fly-on-the-wall series Amazon Prime have produced on English teams.

The behind-the-scenes action of Manchester City's 2017-18 title-winning season was the first to be made by the streaming company, with Holywood actor Ben Kingsley narrating Pep Guardiola's first Premier League title win.

'Take Us Home: Leeds United' was also created by Amazon, depicting the Championship's club's promotion chasing season in 2018-19, with Whites supporter Russell Crowe narrating the series.

Not only is the Tottenham documentary expected to show Pochettino's sacking and Mourinho's appointment, but it will also reveal how the club managed to operate during the coronavirus crisis.

Another key feature of the show will be Mourinho's team-talks, with a trailer showing the Portuguese boss saying: 'You are a team of good guys... but good guys never win'.
