Tottenham have confirmed winger Bryan Gil has joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season.

Gil had been spotted in Spain earlier on Monday before Spurs announced the deal on Monday evening.

The 21-year-old spent much of his youth career at the Spanish club and made 21 senior appearances for them before moving to North London in 2021.

He spent much of his first season with Tottenham back in Spain during a loan spell at Valencia and has made just four Premier League appearances for Antionio Conte's side this season.

Spurs are also looking at loans for Djed Spence and Oliver Skipp after both have struggled for first team football this season.

Skipp has made just eight league appearances this season after establishing himself in 2021-22, with the midfielder struggling to match his past form since returning from a pelvic injury last July.

After arriving for £20 million from Nottingham Forest over the summer, Spence has had even less game time, playing in just six matches across all competitions for Antonio Conte's side.

The wing back is likely to move further down the pecking order for the rest of the season, with Spurs interested in Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Porro.

Spurs had expected to complete a £39m deal for Porro, 23, but Sporting reneged on the terms on Monday, leaving the right-back distraught.

The Premier League side are still hopeful that they can sign Porro before Tuesday's deadline.
