Bukayo Saka sends James Maddison Tottenham dig in moment Arsenal fans will love

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been named England's Player of the Year for the second successive season, a hugely impressive achievement considering he is still only 22 years old

Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka has taken a thinly-veiled dig at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hale End academy graduate was presented with his award on Tuesday - coincidentally his birthday - by Spurs midfielder James Maddison, with the Gunners star making sure to get a subtle dig in at the Lillywhites in the process. "Brilliant. I haven't given you my present yet," Maddison said to Saka.

"It's a Tottenham scarf, I'll give it to you later on." The young winger then made sure to jokingly dismiss the possibility of wearing a scary from his north London rivals.

"I'll give it you back bro. I’ll give it back to you," the youngster replied.

Saka then took to social media to show his gratitude, writing on X (Formerly known as Twitter): "Back to back, what an honour. Thank you to everybody who voted me England's Men's Player of the year I’m very grateful #GodsChild."

The talented attacker will be back in action for Arsenal on Sunday, September 17 when his side travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton in the Premier League.
