Liverpool's stay at the top of the Premier League table was proven to be a short one, at least for this weekend, with Manchester City retaking first place just hours after falling to second with a 2-0 win away at Burnley.

Match Report
The Reds had moved in front of their title-chasing rivals with their own 2-0 win at home to Watford earlier in the day, laying down a clear challenge for the defending champions.
Pep Guardiola's City suffocated their hosts, having 77 percent of the ball and 18 shots at goal to Burnley's 23pc and just three attempts.
They wasted no time in getting going, either. Clearly sent out to send a statement after losing the lead in the title race, Kevin De Bruyne put City ahead inside five minutes. Rodri started things off by spraying a ball out wide to Raheem Sterling who, in turn, volleyed back towards the Belgian to rifle home a finish.
City kept coming and almost doubled their lead moments later, but Nick Pope saved from Sterling. Rodri was next to go close, sending a shot just wide.
The lead was doubled before the half-hour mark through Ilkay Gundogan, but Sterling was again the creator. De Bruyne and the Englishman played a nice one-two to let the latter loose on the win, and he then cut back for Gundogan to finish coolly.
From there, there was never likely to be any way back for the hosts.
Manchester City regain top spot
City return to being a point ahead of Liverpool, having 73 to the Reds' 72. Burnley stay second bottom with 21 points, four points from safety.
