The agent of Turkey international Hakan Calhanoglu has reportedly met with Milan to discuss a new contract at San Siro.
After establishing himself under Stefano Pioli at the Rossoneri, the 25-year-old is now reportedly asking extend his deal with the club, as his current deal expires next summer.
Calciomercato.com claims that the former Bayer Leverkusen star’s agent Bektas Demirtas held a meeting with the hierarchy at the Giuseppe Meazza five days ago.
The report claims that the player would like to renew his current deal with the club, as he has established himself as a key member in the squad.
Calhanoglu has played 14 games in Serie A this season, adding to his 36 appearances in the League last season.
He moved from Bayer Leverkusen during the summer of 2017 and has scored 11 times in 81 league matches for the Rossoneri.
Milan reportedly rejected a €6m bid for the player from Galatasaray in October this year and Calciomercato claims that the club has told the player is worth above €20m.
