Can you name the winger - who shone at the World Cup - on the cover of Dutch Vogue?

A Premier League winger has appeared on the upcoming cover of Vogue Netherlands' May issue.

He appears with a bucket hat pulled over his face, obscuring his identity for all but the most-eagle eyed fans.

The footballer is dressed in an open-necked shirt for the black and white cover shot, with only some designer stubble and some jewelry visible.

During his interview with the magazine, he discussed a four year spell spent with one of the biggest clubs in the Eredivisie, and an impressive underdog display at the World Cup.

The winger spent time with three different clubs in the Dutch league, before moving to England in a £35 million deal in 2020.

It was of course Chelsea and Morocco winger Hakim Ziyech, who spoke to the publication on the back of the Atlas Lions' remarkable run to the World Cup semi finals.

Morocco knocked out Portugal and Switzerland in the knockout stages in Qatar, which was only ended in the semi finals when they were beaten 1-0 by eventual runners-up France.

Reflecting on the tournament, Ziyech was disappointed his overachieving side had not gone further, as he explained: 'We were in the last four. We were so close and we just didn't make it to the final.'

'I wouldn't say sadness, but the disappointment was great. For the outside world, everyone was very happy. But when you're on the pitch, it's all about one thing: winning. And we didn't'.

Since the impressive campaign, which saw Morocco become the first African side in history to reach the World Cup semi finals, Ziyech's career has stalled somewhat.

He was hoping for a loan move to Paris-Saint Germain in January, but the move was prevented at the last minute after a mistake from Chelsea, which reportedly infuriated the midfielder.

The 30-year-old has also struggled to match his international form in West London, going goalless in his 14 league appearances despite an important presence in the previous two seasons.

His struggles have coincided with a torrid year for the Blues that has seen them slide to 11th in the Premier League table.

They are winless in their last seven games across all competitions, and have scored just once in four straight losses since interim boss Frank Lampard took over earlier this month.

The Blues have little left to play for this season, but will next be in action against Brentford on Wednesday.

They will then have a chance to have a say in the title race when they face wobbling leaders Arsenal the following Tuesday.
