World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro was delighted for Napoli after their Scudetto triumph.
Cannavaro has declared coach Luciano Spalletti as the "architect" of the victory.
He told TMW: "We will celebrate again for a long time because there are still a few matches left and in Naples there is time to celebrate.
"It has been too long since the last one and this is sad because in recent years there have been many difficulties, while now the club has found stability, not only economically, but also in terms of results.
"They swept the championship with a fantastic season. Seeing a city celebrate with such order and civility is certainly a pleasure.
"He (Spalletti) is certainly the architect of this Scudetto. It is not the victory of an individual, but of a group, of a coach who has gained a lot of experience in his career and of a club that has changed and invested. We have seen the results, they were all good."
