Jordan Rhodes hit a hat-trick as Norwich won a 4-3 thriller away at Wycombe.
The Canaries raced into the lead with two of Rhodes' goals coming in the first 15 minutes.
Paris Cowan-Hall responded for Wycombe, before Norwich's Tom Trybull pegged them back with a rising header.
Rhodes added his third early in the second half, before Wycombe launched a comeback through Sam Saunders and Jason McCarthy goals. But it was not enough for the home side to pull off an upset.
Wycombe's fellow League One side Blackpool dumped QPR out as Ivorian forward Armand Gnanduillet and Jay Spearing scored in a 2-0 win.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough beat Preston on penalties at Deepdale.
The game finished 2-2 in regular time after Preston, who twice led via goals through Callum Robinson and Tom Barkhuizen, were pinned back by Boro.
The visitors then won the shootout after penalty misses from Robinson and Graham Burke.
