Cardiff have signed midfielder Leandro Bacuna from Reading for a fee in the region of £3million.
The Curacao international has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League side.
Bacuna was full of praise for Cardiff manager Neil Warnock and stated that he is eager to make an instant impact for his new club.
He told Cardiff's official website: 'A few weeks ago, I was made aware of some interest and it has all gone from there. I'm very happy and looking forward to getting started.
'Every game I play I give 100%, and I'll be fighting hard to help our team. I've played against the manager and you can see he always wants to win. He is so passionate. It's going to be great to work underneath him and hopefully he will push me on as a player.'
Bacuna possesses Premier League experience from his time at Aston Villa. He played for Villa between 2013 and 2017 having joined from Groningen.
While at Reading, Bacuna amassed 66 appearances.
A former Netherlands youth international, Bacuna subsequently elected to represent Curacao at senior level and he has now scored nine goals in 19 games for the latter country.
Bacuna will hope to help Cardiff avoid relegation from the Premier League, with Warnock's side currently in 18th place in the table.
Cardiff host Bournemouth on Saturday evening, and Bacuna could make his debut in that fixture.
