According to MilanNews.it, RedBird chairman Gerry Cardinale recounted a past event to illustrate his desire for Milan to play attacking football this season.

Cardinale's meaning is clear: Milan can no longer sit back and wait for opportunities as they did under Allegri, but must actively attack, play beautiful football, and control the game and their opponents. Amorim also promised this at his introductory press conference. He spoke of attacking, pressing high, and controlling the game, which aligns with Milan's ethos. However, no matter how good the words are, the key is to put them into action.
Cardinale needs to strengthen the squad.
The problem is that to achieve all of this, Milan still needs the right players. Modern center forwards like Gonçalo Ramos, and aggressive players with good on-ball ability like Mario Gila, would help, but the Rossoneri still need several new signings, especially for the right attacking midfielder position.
Clearly, to replicate Messi's performance for Argentina, Milan needs Messi, or at least stronger players than Nkunku, Chukwueze, or Attacame. Fifteen days have passed since Cardinale sent that message after England vs. Argentina. Since the team has not yet completed enough sales, and there has been no progress on Leão's departure, Cardinale has not yet fully met Amorim's demands. Milan cannot just have ideas and nice words; they must continuously deliver results.
