Jamie Carragher posted a cheeky reaction on social media on Sunday following a great weekend for his beloved Liverpool.
With Liverpool legend Carragher's long held animosity towards United he must have enjoyed seeing the result and it had the added bonus of dropping local rivals Everton in to the relegation zone.
The weekend couldn't have gone better for Liverpool, and Carragher reacted by posting a photo of a pint of Carlsberg on Instagram with the caption: "If CARLSBERG did weekends...."
It eludes to the beer's famous marketing campaign which said: "Carlsberg don't do weekends, but if it did it would probably be the best in the world."
United will have a chance to fight back after the international break when they face Liverpool at Old Trafford, whereas City will have to wait until early November to play them.
