Neil Lennon was in Wales last night to watch Partizan Belgrade's highly-rated Serbian youth international Strahinja Pavlovic.

The Celtic manager cast an eye over the 18-year-old centre-back, as Partizan secured a 1-0 victory over Connah's Quay Nomads at the Belle Vue in Rhyl in their Europa League qualifier.

Measuring 6ft 4in Pavlovic worked his way up through the ranks at Partizan, making his professional debut in February.

Previously linked with Juventus, the teenager was untested by Kilmarnock's Europa League conquerors. With Jozo Simunovic expected a £5million target for French club Lille, however, the Parkhead boss is on the look-out for defensive reinforcements.

Jack Hendry is also likely to leave on loan to English Championship side Hull City.

A £1.5million signing from Dundee in January 2018, the 24-year-old has featured in just 25 games for the Parkhead side and last started in a 3-1 Europa League defeat to RB Salzburg in October last year.
