Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele is in line to make his senior debut this weekend as Neil Lennon wants to give the 16-year-old a run out.

Dembele has been withdrawn from England Under 17 duty so he can fully focus on making his Scottish Premiership debut in Celtic's final game of the season against Hearts, according to The Sun.

The London-born winger has been the subject of a tug-of-war between England and Scotland and Celtic moved quickly to tie him down to a full-time professional contract in December 2018.

Dembele was called up by England to play in the Under 17 European Championships in Ireland but he has been given permission to stay with his club.

With the league title in the bag, Celtic boss Lennon is willing to make changes to his first-team squad and may rest players ahead of their Scottish Cup final encounter with Hearts.

Dembele became an instant YouTube hit when he represented Celtic's Under 20 side at the tender age of 13.

Lennon is likely to give him a spot on the substitutes' bench for Celtic's final league game of the season.

Dembele recently committed his future to England on social media. He wrote: 'Looking forward to next season with the boys #ENG16.'

The teenager previously played for Scotland's Under 16 side before switching allegiances to the Young Lions.
