Champions League Winner Odds 2024: Which teams are closest to Manchester City?

  /  autty

Manchester City remain on track to become the first English club since Nottingham Forest in 1980 to retain Europe's top prize – the UEFA Champions League trophy.

After the conclusion of Matchday 5 of 6 in the Group Stage for this year’s competition, they remain the big favourites with the bookmakers to retain the title at Wembley in June 2024.

Should they retain the title, they would become the first side to retain the trophy since Real Madrid won it on three consecutive occasions between 2015/16 and 2017/18.

There are only three other teams shorter than 10/1 in the Champions League winner market.

Manchester City are the 2/1 favourites on Unibet to win the 2023/24 Champions League on Unibet (implied 33% chance). Pep Guardiola’s side made it five wins from five (15 goals scored) after coming from behind to beat RB Leipzig 3-2 at the Etihad on Tuesday night.

Bayern Munich Champions League Odds

Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich are the second favourites to win the 2023/24 Champions League on Unibet at 4/1 (implied 20% chance). The 30-year-old has netted five times in his first six Champions League outings for Bayern, added to his 18 Bundesliga strikes in just 12 matches.

Real Madrid Champions League Odds

A Real Madrid side inspired by Jude Bellingham come in as the third favourites for this season’s top European trophy at 13/2 on Unibet (13% chance). The Englishman Bellingham scored 14 goals in his first 15 matches for Real Madrid to break a previous club record of 13 shared by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Arsenal Champions League Odds

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been given an 11% chance of winning their maiden Champions League title in 2023/24 at odds of 8/1 on Unibet. Summer recruit Declan Rice has added strength to the Gunners’ midfield, while William Saliba has helped them to a Premier League best of just 10.5 xGC (expected goals conceded) from their 13 league matches.
