Todd Boehly's approach to the transfer market has been pure chaos, with their spending dwarfing their rivals.
The new Chelsea owner has thrown endless millions around since he replaced Roman Abramovich in the summer.
Scattergun seems the appropriate word to sum up the vast spending for Thomas Tuchel and then Graham Potter.
Their most eye-catching addition so far has been Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, stolen from under the noses of Arsenal in a deal worth a staggering £88million.
That was was followed up by a deal for another winger, Noni Madueke, who has joined from PSV Eindhoven on a seven-and-a-half-year contract for a fee of around £30million.
So far, there have been six new arrivals in spending – costing £190million.
After a huge outlay last summer, that has taken Chelsea's total spending since Boehly's arrival to £460m – and he's only been the owner since July 2022.
Question marks have been raised about how Chelsea can spend such vast sums and still be compliant with Financial Fair Play rules.
It seems that they are able to do this by giving players long contracts, like the possible eight-and-a-half year deal given to Mudryk, as a way to spread out the payments.
Many of those players will be on display in an important Premier League clash against Liverpool on Saturday at 12:30pm – which will be exclusively live on talkSPORT.

This is a ninth vs tenth place clash – with both teams struggling for form this season and facing difficulties getting into that all-important top four.
It seems particularly poignant that Chelsea come up against Liverpool after yet more vast spending.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has continually driven home at how he is restricted in what he can spend in the market.
In fact, Chelsea's spending since Boehly signed is fast approaching the same amount Liverpool have spent in the last 10 transfer windows, dating back to July 2018.
While Chelsea have spent £460m, Liverpool have spent around £510m – one more signing this month could well take the Blues over that.
Speaking ahead of the clash between the two sides, Liverpool boss Klopp said: “I don't think Chelsea can do this in the same manner for the next 10 years – I don't know, maybe they can.
“Other teams will have ups and downs and we just have to be there. I can't see investment stopping in the future and that means we have to do it as well.
“We don't talk about now because it's always slightly different, but in general. I believe in coaching, I believe in developing, I believe in team-building and using those things 100 per cent.
“Meanwhile there are so many good managers out there it's crazy so they believe in that as well – and if they start really properly spending and do those things as well, then you cannot not spend or you will have a little bit of a problem.
“The moment you build a new team, it doesn't mean you have to build it every year new, (you) give players the chance to make the next step.
“We have quite a few of them already here. Then a lot of things are possible again. That's the plan for the future.
“It's not worrying that other teams can spend, it's probably a matter of fact. We have to react to that as well but not just to that.”
Should Chelsea beat Liverpool on Saturday then the topic of transfer spending is likely to be brought up again.
