Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea and Everton after the Hornets' relegation to the Championship.
The former England international has remained one of the most wanted men from the Premier League's relegated sides this season despite being 37 years old.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is still searching to resolve his goalkeeper issues concerning Kepa Arrizabalaga and has noted Foster as a potential replacement, according to the Sun.
The Blues have been exploring options such as Andre Onana from Ajax and Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid - both who would cost a pretty penny to lure to Stamford Bridge.
Therefore, Foster has come up as a more affordable addition to help solve their problem.
Chelsea are trying to offload Arrizabalaga, who joined the Blues for a world-record fee for a goalkeeper, and would loan him back to Spain for now if the deal was right.
Second-choice goalkeeper Willy Caballero would provide some good competition for Foster at Chelsea, but the Argentine is 38 years old, one year older than Foster.
The Watford stopper has also become a target at Everton, with boss Carlo Ancelotti trying to find some competition for Jordan Pickford.
Whilst Manchester United's Sergio Romero has also been shortlisted by the Toffees, Foster remains the ideal man to keep the young Pickford on his toes.
