It is reported that Chelsea have asked Lazio to name their price for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Blues are one of a number of clubs around Europe rumoured to be interested in his services, with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United also linked.
It is thought that Biancocelesti President Claudio Lotito will not even consider offers below €120m for the 23-year-old.
And this may prove a stumbling block for the Stamford Bridge club, who reportedly only want to pay between €80m and €90m.
The midfielder, who represented Serbia at this summer’s World Cup, reported back to Lazio for pre-season training this morning, undergoing routine medical tests.
According to TMW Web, Milinkovic-Savic told a fan outside the Paideia medical centre that he is ‘definitely’ staying in Rome.
