Chelsea fans have been venting their frustration at the possibility of Callum Hudson-Odoi moving to Bayern Munich.
The 18-year-old is one of the brightest talents produced by the club's academy in recent years but he appears to be edging closer to the exit door.
Bayern Munich have matched Chelsea's £35million asking price with their fourth bid and plenty of Blues supporters fear the worst.
Hudson-Odoi has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Maurizio Sarri's first team but impressed in pre-season and whenever he has featured during the campaign.
And with Christian Pulisic still to arrive from Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, the English winger might yet find himself further down the pecking order.
Given the time and effort put in by the Chelsea academy to help cultivate Hudson-Odoi's talents, fans appear to be widely condemning a sale.
One wrote that there would be 'no point' in the club even having an academy set up whilst another said that if the winger can't make it then nobody will.
Some lamented the waste of talent it would be to let Hudson-Odoi leave the club and join the growing number of English youngsters plying their trade in the Bundesliga.
Sarri also wants to keep hold of his promising starlet, saying: 'I don't think he should go to Germany because he is an English player.
'He is very young, he has the future and I think that he has a very great future here in England with the national team and with Chelsea. To stay here is better for him.'
