Goals from Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez ensured Chelsea progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a tight win over AFC Wimbledon
Robert Sanchez - Gave away a penalty as he attempted to clear the ball in the opening half and had precious little else to do. Claimed the ball better in the latter stages of the game. 6.
Bashir Humphreys - A solid outing at right back from the academy product and kept the ball moving well. Moved to the centre of defence when Levi Colwill was replaced in the final 30 minutes. 6.
Axel Disasi - Did not have too much to do but covered well for Humphreys. Could have competed with more strength in some duels in the opening half but was a leader of the backline in the second. 6.
Levi Colwill - A steady outing from the 20-year-old who was again showed his quality passing down the left. Even after taking a knock had the capacity to battle and win a one-versus-one as Ali Al-Hamadi looked to break through, having moments before gone down with a knock. Subbed off soon after but hopefully just a precaution. 7.
Marc Cucurella - A few errant touches but delivered some threatening balls and was part of some promising one-two play with Ian Maatsen. 6.
Conor Gallagher - At times made things look very easy against the League Two opposition but couldn't quite find the right pocket of space to make a big difference. One of the Blues more threatening players nevertheless. 6.
Lesley Ugochukwu - Regularly played between Chelsea's central defenders and collected the ball to initiate Chelsea's play. Great second half tracking back to make a brilliant challenge. 6.
Noni Madueke - Brought energy to the Stamford Bridge crowd and was ultimately his clever footwork that earned the Blues a penalty, which the 21-year-old went on to dispatch. Further grew in confidence in the second period and will need to maintain such form to compete with Raheem Sterling. 8.
Ian Maatsen - Oozes quality on the ball and always looking for the next opportunity. Shut down Alex Bass' clearance to hand Enzo Fernandez his goal. Defensive work brilliant in the last minutes. 7.
Diego Moreira - The former Benfica starlet started well but faded out of the half. 5.
Mason Burstow - Couldn't quite get on the end of a couple of Chelsea chances but looked to combine well with Nicolas Jackson when he entered the fray. 6.
SUBS
Nicolas Jackson - His introduction made an immediate difference as he combined well with Maatsen and Burstow to find room in and around the AFC Wimbledon box. 6.
Malo Gusto - Combined well with Madueke quickly after entering the field and continued a promising start to life at Stamford Bridge. 7.
Enzo Fernandez - Confident finish from the World Cup winner to put Chelsea ahead when Bass was caught away from his goal. Looked to bring a threat whenever he was on the ball. 7.
Moises Caicedo - Steady presence as he kept the ball moving in the centre of the field. 6.
