Chelsea are reportedly planning to hold contract talks with starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer.
The 23-year-old England international's current deal is due to expire in June 2021.
According to The Sun, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia wants to sit down with Loftus-Cheek in an attempt to tie him down for longer.
Chelsea are said to be keen to avoid the situation they find themselves in with fellow academy product Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has little over 12 months left on his contract but is in no rush to sign a new one.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, is understood to want assurances over first-team football before committing his future.
Loftus-Cheek was one of the best players on the pitch during an 83-minute outing as Chelsea drew 1-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
He has excelled throughout Chelsea's Europa League campaign, providing three goals and three assists in 10 games.
The midfielder has also chipped in with five goals and two assists in five Premier League starts and 17 substitute appearances this season.
