Todd Boehly may have brought his own Lionel Messi to Chelsea with the signing of Angelo Gabriel receiving plaudits from ex-Arsenal striker Julio Baptista

Chelsea have already completed eight summer transfers and six of those can certainly be categorised as signings for the future. Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson are the two senior arrivals with Mauricio Pochettino expected to include both in his first-team plans.

However, some of those could be set for an immediate impact on the senior team. Moreira, Santos and Casadei all started the Wrexham friendly alongside Carney Chukwuemeka with the quartet making a statement to Pochettino they can be in his first-team plans for the upcoming season.

The Brazilian wonderkid possesses a clear skill set with his sharp and incisive dribbling and wand of a left foot drawing comparisons to Lionel Messi. Todd Boehly has unsuccessfully attempted to lure Messi to Chelsea before, but he could have finally found an alternative answer who is also half the Argentine's age.

Comments from ex-Arsenal forward Julio Baptista also indicate that Chelsea have a real gem on their hands. Speaking to Gambling Zone, he said: "Angelo Gabriel is an incredible player, for someone so young. He has a great left foot, but he can play across the front three and also behind the 9.

"He’s a strong runner, he has incredible skills, especially dribbling, and I think it will work well at Chelsea because he’s so talented. When players move from Brazil to Europe, they need time to complete their game but he’s an incredible talent."
