The Premier League's schedule is set to return to normal for this weekend, though there are doubts over Chelsea's game against Liverpool on Sunday.

The news comes on the back of the EFL's confirmation that games will continues as scheduled from tomorrow evening's midweek games following the passing of Her Majesty The Queen on Thursday.

The Blues are due to host Jurgen Klopp's side in new manager Graham Potter's first game, but The Queen's state funeral is due to be held less than 24 hours later, plunging the game into doubt.

Football in England had been stopped as a mark of respect, but normal service is set to be resumed with football paying its respects to The Queen in a number of ways during games.

There are however doubts over games that are due to be played in London, with the match between Chelsea and Liverpool in the most doubt.

A full set of EFL fixtures are however set to be played tomorrow and Wednesday, and the organisation has confirmed they will go ahead as planned.

Champions League games involving Premier League teams will also take place this week after the postponement of the weekend's fixtures.

One of those games is Chelsea vs Salzburg, which will take place at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday as planned.

In the EFL, a minute’s silence will be held before matches, with black armbands to be worn, flags flown at half-mast and the national anthem to be played in stadiums.
