Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has been nominated for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for January, following his decisive strike in the club’s 2–1 Premier League victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Nigeria international produced a moment of quality at Craven Cottage as Fulham fought back from a goal down to secure all three points.

With Marco Silva’s side trailing 1–0, Chukwueze showed composure and class in the 72nd minute, expertly controlling a perfectly weighted pass from defender Joachim Andersen before finishing clinically to restore parity.

The goal proved pivotal as the Cottagers went on to complete the comeback.

Chukwueze’s nomination underlines his growing influence at Fulham since arriving on loan from AC Milan last summer.

The 26-year-old has quickly adapted to life in the Premier League and has been one of Fulham’s standout attacking performers this season.

He has so far recorded five goals and two assists in 11 league appearances, contributing significantly to the club’s push for consistency in the top flight.

The January Goal of the Month award is keenly contested, with Harry Wilson leading the nominations with four goals in the shortlist.

Several other Fulham players are also in the running, including Tom Cairney, Jade Bradley, Harrison Reed, Aaron Loupalo-Bi, Kevin, Farhaan, and Ali Wahid, highlighting the depth of attacking contributions within Silva’s squad.

For Chukwueze, the nomination is further recognition of his impact and confidence in a Fulham shirt, as he continues to impress fans and pundits alike with his pace, flair, and eye for goal.
