After last season's loan with Como from Manchester City, the midfielder has now signed in an outright deal.
Perrone told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It wasn't a difficult decision because I've felt at ease here from the start with everyone: the coach, the technical staff, the team, and the fans.
"I'm convinced it's the best thing for me and my career. You can feel the ambition every day at the training centre; this year we want to aim even higher.
"The only thing we have to stay focused on is training hard every day and improving. We need to know where we come from, but also that we want to aim for the top."
Perrone also said: "Everything can be improved. Last season, we conceded too many goals in the final minutes of many games and dropped points. I think that's the aspect that was most noticeable, but in football, everything can be improved."
