Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is determined to follow in his father's footsteps after copying the 37-year-old's iconic stepover during a Manchester United training session.
The 11-year-old joined the academy setup at United when his father made a sensational return to the club after 12 years away.
Ronaldo Jr has been training regularly with the Red Devils ever since and a new video has emerged of him mimicking his father's skills.
The young Manchester United star was seen executing the 'Ronaldo chop' before scoring a sensational goal on Wednesday morning.
Ronaldo Jr played the ball against the wall to replicate receiving a pass. He then burst forwards with a sudden change of pace.
The 11-year-old completed one of Ronaldo's iconic stepovers while travelling a speed. He then chopped the ball back inside to set himself up to shoot.
The youngster then fired the ball into the top right hand corner before immediately turning to the camera to celebrate.
Fans took to social media to draw similarities between Ronaldo Jr and his father. One said: 'He has the same style as his father lol even the cut he gave there.'
Another added: 'This boy reminds you of someone, doesn't he?'. Before one supporter wrote: 'Plays like his dad already. He's gonna be special.'
It's not the first time Ronaldo Jr has been touted as a rising star. The youngster grandmother, Dolores Aveiro, said that 11-year-old was 'better than his father was at his age'.
Aveiro said that Ronaldo Jr will reach the same heights his father and expressed her desire for the 11-year-old to play for Sporting Lisbon - the club where her son made his breakthrough - in the future.
Aveiro also said she hopes United star Ronaldo will return to Sporting once last time before he hangs up his boots.
'Let's see...,' he [Ronaldo] said, but if it isn't [him], it's Cristianinho!,' Aveiro said when asked about Ronaldo returning to Sporting.
'At his age, he [Ronaldo Jr] plays better than Ronaldo. At the time, Ronaldo didn't have a coach, but today Ronaldo is his son's teacher.'
Ronaldo shared the photos of himself and his son training on his Instagram account with the following caption: 'Present and future'.
Ronaldo was seen running around the pitch topless while the youngster was seen donning a Manchester United training top.
