Cristiano Ronaldo makes a subtle change to his Al-Nassr kit

Cristiano Ronaldo's powers of persuasion at Al-Nassr has seemed to have worked again, following his latest outing for the Saudi Pro League side.

The Portuguese icon scored the winner for his Saudi team in Wednesday's 1-0 AFC Champions League win over Al Feiha, and eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted a key element that had returned to his attire.

Those looking closely would have noticed something different about the Al-Nassr shirt that Ronaldo was wearing.

Because for the first time since his move to the Middle East, the 39-year-old was wearing a club shirt with long sleeves - something which has become synonymous with the Portuguese skipper.

Throughout his career, Ronaldo has made a habit of wearing long sleeve shirts, whether that was at Manchester United, Real Madrid or Juventus.

Now, and despite the warmer climate in Saudi Arabia it looks as though he's finally got his signature wish by having a long sleeved shirt in the colours of Al-Nassr.

Previously he could be seen wearing the more common short-sleeved shirt for the club, whilst wearing a base layer underneath in the same colour to make it look like long sleeves.

However, the Saudi club and kit suppliers Nike look as though they have finally created a preferred version for their number one star.

He wasn't alone either, nine of the other players in the starting line-up also donned the long sleeved version, with only Marcelo Brozovic opting to stay in short sleeves along with goalie Raghed Al-Najjar.

Ronaldo's preference isn't just at club level either, the forward has always plumped for the long sleeves at international level, too.

His goal in the AFC Champions League win means he's now scored 31 times in 32 games this season.

However, Al-Nassr remain in second in the Saudi Pro League, seven points behind leaders Al-Hilal, having lost to the leaders 2-0 earlier this month.
