Cristiano Ronaldo didn't need any time to readjust to life in the Premier League after his move to Manchester United from Juventus, with the Portuguese superstar named Player of the Month for September.
The No.7 bagged two goals on his return to England as Manchester United beat Newcastle United 4-1. Another strike against West Ham earned Ronaldo his third goal of the month, and fifth Player of the Month gong.
Ronaldo won his first Player of the Month award in November 2006, then again in December of the same year, before wrapping another two awards in January and March of 2008.
Ronaldo beat out other candidates for the accolade such as Joao Cancelo (Manchester City), Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea), Allan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle United), Ismaila Sarr (Watford) and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), and will now receive a special card on FIFA 22.
