Danny Cowley is to become the new manager of Portsmouth.

The 42-year old former Huddersfield boss held talks on Wednesday about taking the job, initially until the end of the season.
Cowley’s brother Nicky will also join as assistant boss. Cowley replaces Kenny Jackett who was sacked by the League One club on Sunday.
The Cowley brothers have been out of work since leaving Huddersfield last summer.
They could take training at Portsmouth for the first time on Thursday or Friday ahead of Saturday's clash at home to Ipswich.
As well as aiming for promotion, the brothers will be keen to inject some energy back into the club and rebuild a strong connection with supporters as they did at Lincoln.
