Danny Drinkwater has hit back at his fans for asking him where his career 'went wrong' on social media.
The 30-year-old took to Instagram to complete a Q&A following the news of his loan deal with Turkish side Kasimpasa.
Drinkwater - who played his last competitive match for Chelsea in August 2018 - was left somewhat unimpressed with one fan's question.
Drinkwater - who was sent off for the Blues' Under 23s against Tottenham in December for kicking out at Spurs' 16-year-old midfielder Alfie Devine - received the question 'where did your career go wrong?' from one social media user.
In a quick-witted response the midfielder wrote: 'Go wrong?' alongside an image of himself kissing the Premier League trophy after he helped Leicester City win the title in 2015-2016.
Another fan asked Drinkwater if he left Leicester to play alongside Chelsea team-mate N'Golo Kante.
Drinkwater admitted the move to Stamford Bridge was to play alongside the French international, but regretted to admit that the pair have only played together once since his arrival.
He said: 'I think that was their plan yes...unfortunately we only played together once in 5-0 win v Stoke.'
Drinkwater went on to say that Kante is the 'best player' he has ever played with - calling their partnership 'special'.
Chelsea fans have, however, seen little of their partnership as Drinkwater has not featured for the blues since their clash with Manchester City in the Community Shield in 2018.
Drinkwater has also been shipped out on loan to various club, including the likes of Aston Villa and Burnley.
As a result, Drinkwater has signed for Turkish side Kasimpasa on loan from Chelsea following a medical over the weekend.
The 30-year-old has joined for the rest of the season and hopes to kickstart his career.
