Former Tottenham defender Danny Rose is reportedly back training at Hotspur Way, despite being contracted to Watford.
Rose still has a year left on his deal at Vicarage Road, but is looking for a move away after being relegated with the Hornets last season.
While he considers his options, Rose is being put through his paces at Spurs, having requested to train with the Premier League club, according to the Watford Observer.
The 29-cap England international only played eight times for Watford in the top-flight in 2021-22, with the last of those appearances coming back in early December.
He fell out of favour under former manager Claudio Ranieri, but failed to get a transfer back in January.
A move away now seems inevitable, though, with Rose not even currently training at the club he is currently employed by.
Still, it is somewhat of a surprise that the 32-year-old is back at Tottenham, given how acrimonious his exit from the club was last summer.
Rose lost his place in the first-team when Jose Mourinho arrived at Spurs in November 2019, and he famously questioned the Portuguese coach over why he wasn't playing more on the club's 'All or Nothing' Amazon documentary.
His fortunes did not improve after that discussion, though, with Tottenham loaning him out to Newcastle for the second half of the 2019-20 campaign.
Rose returned to Tottenham that summer, but was then frozen out of the first-team by Mourinho, and did not feature for the senior team during the entire 2020-21 season.
Watford brought his nightmare period at Spurs to an end by signing him on a free transfer in July 2021, but 12 months later, he is back with his old-team-mates, looking for another club to take a chance on him.
