Date confirmed for Chelsea-Hull City clash in the fourth round of the FA Cup

  /  Dafa316

Chelsea will play away against Hull City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday 25 January.

Kick-off for the game at the KCOM Stadium will be at 5.30 pm.

The Blues defeated Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge to book our place in the fourth round, thanks to goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ross Barkley.

Hull are currently ninth in the Championship and were beaten finalists in 2014. Our last meeting with the Tigers was in the FA Cup in 2018 when two goals from Willian alongside strikes from Pedro and Olivier Giroud sealed a place in the quarter-finals. The Blues went on to lift the trophy that year, beating Manchester United in the final.

The last time Chelsea played away against Hull in the FA Cup was in the third round of the 1999/00 season, again on the way to winning the competition. Gustavo Poyet scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 win at Hull's former stadium Boothferry Park.
