David Beckham was left in tears with Victoria by his side after Lionel Messi scored a winner for his US football team Inter Miami in front of stars including Kim Kardashian and LeBron James.
The Argentine curled a stunning free-kick into the top left corner in the 94th minute to avoid the matchup against Cruz Azul going to penalties - after being subbed on in the 54th minute.
Fans erupted into cheers after the game-changing goal in the Leagues Cup, with Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Serena Williams and the Beckham children Harper and Cruz all on the edges of their seats.
And David even appeared to shed a tear after the emotional match, with his supportive family by his side.
The goal clinched a Hollywood debut for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner that even pulled on the heartstrings of co-owner Beckham.
The England legend, who watched the game from the stands with his wife Victoria, was seen with tears in his eyes, getting emotional over the goal.
Fans went wild in the stands after the crucial goal while the Beckham family - including Cruz and Harper - rushed to take snaps of the historic moment.
Meanwhile Kim Kardashian showed off her A-list celebrity status, taking selfies with fans in the crowd before sharing a sweet moment with Victoria Beckham as they held hands and discussed the tense game.
The reality queen, 42, found she could not stay out the spotlight for long even while enjoying the game.
Kardashian posed with Victoria and David Beckham, alongside her son, Saint.
Speaking to Apple TV pregame, she said her son was the driving force for her attendance.
'All summer we're going to different exhibition games,' she said. 'I played soccer for five or six years. I was goalie - and center-forward - I wasn't bad, you know!
'I loved it, so I'm happy that my boy loves it - and that we can come. They're excited and that just makes me so excited.
'I'm happy to be here with Victoria, David and everyone. It's going to be such a fun game.'
Kardashian was asked if Saint has a favorite player, to which she replied that it was Inter Miami's No. 10 and that he was 'so excited.'
Tennis champion and longtime Floridian favorite, Serena Williams, joined her fellow celebrities at the game vs. the Mexican club and was seen enjoying Kim K's company.
NBA icon LeBron James was also pictured inside DRV PNK Stadium, sporting a bucket hat and a white fit.
He was able to share an embrace with Messi prior to the national anthem. James's eldest son, and USC basketball commit, Bronny James was in tow with his famous father.
David Beckham said after the match on Apple's MLS Season Pass: 'To be honest, as soon as I saw the free kick given, I thought, 'This is the way it's meant to end.'
'Especially when you've got players like Leo and Sergio [Busquets] on the pitch - that's what they produce.
'It's so exciting tonight for our fans,' he continued. 'All of these people, that have come down here to see Leo just step on the pitch - let alone just do what he's done. Honestly Sergio's performance was incredible.
'But you know it's a dream come true for everybody in this stadium to see, and everybody around this country to see Leo step into the MLS and perform. I don't have many words for that.'
Beckham - no stranger to a late free-kick himself - last played professionally in 2013 as he wrapped up a gilded career with PSG.
And he found the experience of helplessly watching the Leagues Cup match from the stands to be difficult before Messi's winner.
'It's terrible... watching these games it's so - as an ex-player you get frustrated. As a player you can do something about it if you're losing, when you're an owner you can't,' he said.
'But tonight is about the people. It's about this. This is what we always saw as our vision, me and Jorge and Jose, and the club.
'This is what we saw. So this is such a special night for us, for our fan, for everyone that's in this stadium, for you guys. It is such a moment for this country. It is such a moment for this league. And it's a very proud moment for us.'
