David Moyes is NOT happy West Ham face another PL game on deadline day again

David Moyes is said to be unimpressed that West Ham are playing a Premier League game on on Transfer Deadline Day for the second time this season.

The Hammers entertain Bournemouth on Thursday evening as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 2-2 draw with Sheffield United and an embarrassing FA Cup exit to Bristol City.

It comes after they travelled to Luton on September 1 - the summer window's deadline day - meaning their hopes to strengthen at the last moment are again compromised.

On that occasion they beat the Hatters 2-1 thanks to goals from Jarrod Bowen and Kurt Zouma, but tonight they face an in-form Bournemouth who have won eight of their past 11 games in all competitions.

West Ham tried to sign the Cherries' talisman Dominic Solanke in the summer, but their bid, described as a ‘big offer’, was turned down.

As of this morning, the Hammers aren't expected to bring in anyone today, with the only business expected to be Said Benrahma's £15m move to Lyon, if indeed that gets over the line.

West Ham were interested in Ibrahim Osman of Danish side Nordsjaelland and Al-Ittihad’s Jota, but those potential transfers have encountered complications.

It’s now looking like Kalvin Phillips will be the club’s only arrival in this window unless a target suddenly becomes available later.
