David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been blasted by shocked fans after 17-year-old Cruz Beckham posed topless in a “very disturbing” photoshoot.

Cruz, who is David and Victoria’s youngest son, turned 17 last Sunday and his parents shared his snaps from i-D magazine on their respective Instagram accounts.

One of the photos included the 17-year-old posing topless in his boxer shorts with his jeans around his ankles, with Cruz sporting a pink buzz and tattoos.

Another picture from i-D’s ‘Out of Body’ spring issue had Beckham’s son pulling his lip down and exposing silver teeth.

Victoria revealed that Cruz’s shoot was a fitting tribute to his father, who posed for Arena Homme + magazine in 2000 when he was 25.

The Spice Girls superstar, who is also a fashion designer, shared side-by-side snaps of Cruz’s i-D photoshoot and David’s Arena Homme + shoot.

Sharing Cruz’s photos on Instagram, Victoria wrote to her 29.5m followers: “Big first day as a 17-year-old! [Cruz Beckham] for [i-D], so proud.”

Manchester United legend David added: “So cool [Cruz Beckham] for [i-D]. Such a proud dad.”

However, both David and Victoria have come under scathing criticism on social media over Cruz’s photoshoot, with one Instagram user calling it “very disturbing.”

A concerned Instagram user wrote: “Who is safeguarding this 17-year-old child?”

Someone else posted: “These photos were taken when he was 16, which makes it even more inappropriate. A 16-year-old should not be sexualised in this way.”

While another said: “Proud of what? Ridiculous world with no relevance to real life.”

And a fourth commented: “What is that? Celebrities are going too far... there’s a limit and they crossed that line a long time ago.”

Another added: “Terrific parenting, you should be ashamed of yourself.”

Speaking in his interview with i-D, Cruz admitted that he wants to follow in his mother’s footsteps by pursuing a career in music rather than football like his father.

“I thought I would want to do football and I did that for a bit,” he said.

“At that point, I just decided this is exactly what I want to do.”

Cruz added: “I even learnt how to play the mandolin for a song I wrote.

“I don’t think you ever stop learning, but I’m taking my time seeing what happens.”
