Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson will miss the club's training camp in Scotland this week as he recovers from Covid-19.

The 24-year-old England international tested positive three weeks ago.

In a statement, the club said Henderson is suffering from 'prolonged fatigue' associated with the virus.

United's pre-season friendly at Preston last Saturday was called off after nine positive cases were identified but players returned to training on Saturday after further testing gave the all clear.

Henderson has recovered from the hip injury which forced him out of the England squad at the start of the European Championship in June.

United captain Harry Maguire has joined up with the squad in Scotland while Paul Pogba is expected back later this week.

Raphael Varane is due in the UK this week ahead of his medical but will be in quarantine ahead of completing his move from Real Madrid.

Norwich City want United defender Brandon Williams on loan. Aston Villa maintain an interest alongside Newcastle for Axel Tuanzebe.
