Declan Rice has sparked worrying injury concerns at Arsenal as he limped off in their thrashing of Crystal Palace.
The former West Ham captain pulled up during the game and footage appears to show him say to Emile Smith Rowe 'hammy'.
The Gunners went on to win the game 5-0 thanks to two late goals from Martinelli after the 90th minute.
The win sees them go just two points off Liverpool who are still top of the league tabe.
But Mikel Arteta will be hoping his star midfielder's apparent injury is not too serious.
Speaking after the game, Arteta said Rice 'felt something' so they did not want to take any risks.
'Declan was feeling something. A sensation in his hamstring so we didn't want to take a risk at 3-0 . Gabriel had a tackle on his knee in first half and was still struggling,' he said.
The Arsenal manager also added that he hoped both injuries were 'not serious'.
Arteta had said that his players had ‘recharged and re-energised’ on their winter break to Dubai and it showed.
During the game, they were not at their fluent, flowing best but they didn’t need to be, and they showed more than enough elan and determination and cohesion to suggest they are ready to reignite their title challenge.
