Dembele has missed 65 games and made 74 appearances in all competitions at Barca since signing for the Catalan club in August 2017.
The 22-year-old Frenchman will be out for another six months after undergoing hamstring surgery and miss the European Championships.
Dembele has scored 19 goals and made 17 assists for Barca in 74 appearances across all competitions.
