Deschamps will offer his wisdom to Pogba on transfer... but won't for Griezmann

France coach Didier Deschamps has said he will offer Paul Pogba advice on a summer transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid if he asks for it.

Pogba has been named in a 24-man France squad for the upcoming friendly international against Bolivia and their next two Euro 2020 qualifiers against Turkey and Andorra next month.

It comes amid renewed speculation that the midfielder wants to leave Old Trafford when the transfer window opens with Real one of the clubs linked to him.

Asked about Pogba after revealing the squad, Deschamps said: 'Drops in form are not unique to Paul. If he asks me for advice [on Real Madrid] I will give it to him.'

It comes as Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette and Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte miss out on the latest France squad.

On Lacazette, Deschamps said: 'There is no reason why we won't see him again soon. I had a difficult choice to make.

'[Wissam] Ben Yedder has scored an enormous amount of goals this season.'

Despite claiming he would happily offer his wisdom to Pogba, Deschamps said he wouldn't be likewise if striker Antoine Griezmann asked him about a possible move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona.

He said: 'I am not here to advise them. I can given them my view, but they have people, advisers, it is their career. What's important is that when a player makes a big decision, he believes in it.'
