According to blogger and source Juan Heart, Everton midfielder Dewsbury-Hall is hoping to play for the Republic of Ireland.

Reports indicate that, after missing out on England's 2026 World Cup squad, Dewsbury-Hall has decided to represent the Republic of Ireland in international competitions.

It is understood that once the passport procedures are completed, Hall is expected to join Ireland's training camp in September.

Born in Leicestershire, England, Hall holds dual English/Irish nationality. He has never represented England or Ireland in international football at any level (senior or youth), making him eligible to choose to represent Ireland.
