Former Manchester United and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has tipped his old clubs to be first and second in the Premier League this season.
Runners-up United finished 19 points behind runaway champions Manchester City last term, with Spurs a further four points back in third.
But Berbatov clearly believes City can be caught, while he is backing Liverpool to hold off Chelsea and retain their place in the top four.
Speaking to Betfair, Berbatov said: 'The top four will be the same as last season but in this order – Manchester United, Spurs, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
'I was going to say Chelsea because of the new manager effect, the team start to perform better especially the first couple of matches but I think Liverpool above them because they've bought better players, so I'll stick to the same four as last year.'
Liverpool, who reached the Champions League final last year despite being 25 points of the pace domestically, have added four senior stars this summer.
Naby Keita and Fabinho have arrived from RB Leipzig and Monaco respectively to bolster Jurgen Klopp's midfield.
Xherdan Shaqiri was picked up cheaply from relegated Stoke, while Alisson became the most expensive goalkeeper ever when he joined from Roma.
In contrast, Tottenham are yet to buy any new players this summer.
Spurs played their first public pre-season game on Wednesday night when they thrashed Roma 4-1 in America.
City, United and Liverpool are also in the States.
Liverpool beat City 2-1 in New Jersey on Wednesday after both sides had been beaten by Borussia Dortmund.
United kicked off their International Champions Cup campaign by beating AC Milan 9-8 in a penalty shootout after drawing 1-1 in 90 minutes.
